Giglio can be reached by ferry from Porto Santo Stefano (Argentario, GR). The Toremar takes about 50 minutes to cover this short stretch of sea and it is possible to disembark on the island with one's own vehicle: the only restriction is during certain summer months when disembarking with one's own vehicle is conditional on the payment of a road tax, the amount of which is published on the official website of the Giglio municipality.
